The hops are shipped via the Post Office, Chronopost or carriers (depending on the volumes ordered) and arrive within 48 to 72 hours after shipment.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Is there a Franco?” tab_id=”1484652030190-407b08ef-5de7″][vc_column_text text_larger=”no”]Free shipping is offered for orders over \u20ac450 excluding VAT. This corresponds to an average basket weight of around ten kilos. <\/p>\n

Most breweries thus benefit from free shipping on their orders, which you won’t find everywhere! :)[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How can I track my parcel\/pallet?” tab_id=”1484652030219-c6960c7e-ee62″][vc_column_text text_larger=”no”]Parcels weighing 4kg or more are sent via Chronopost, which offers very rigorous parcel tracking. They are delivered to you within 24 hours of dispatch and handed directly to you. You will receive an email upon collection, allowing you to track your parcel. <\/p>\n

Packages of lesser weight are sent via Colissimo. Delivery takes 3 to 4 days from the date of dispatch. You will receive an email upon collection, allowing you to track your package. <\/p>\n

The pallets are shipped via courier. Please allow approximately 3 days for delivery. Whenever possible, and especially for smaller packages, we prefer to reuse cardboard boxes in good condition rather than new ones. This allows us to conserve raw materials (those used to manufacture the boxes), extend the lifespan of products (instead of being discarded after a single use, boxes are given a second life with HOPSTORE), and thus reduce waste production. <\/p>\n

Regarding hops<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t[vc_tta_accordion shape=”square” color=”white” c_icon=”chevron” c_position=”right” active_section=”1″ no_fill=”true” collapsible_all=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”How are hops stored?” tab_id=”1″][vc_column_text text_larger=”no”]The hops are stored in their original bags or in ours for the smaller packages.<\/p>\n

These are opaque bags, under vacuum and in a protective atmosphere (nitrogen).<\/p>\n

They are stored in a cold room all year round.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How are the hops reconditioned?” tab_id=”1484056430132-f06cc1b5-a7ca”][vc_column_text text_larger=”no”]To meet all requests, we repackage hops into 100g, 500g, and 1kg bags. For this, we use a vacuum sealing machine that injects nitrogen. Some brewers use freezing, which works well if you use your entire bag at once. Two points to be aware of, however: <\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Once defrosted, you must use it entirely (do not refreeze, no no) and quickly so that it does not spoil;<\/li>\n
  2. If for one reason or another you have to transport bags of frozen pellets you risk significant alteration of your hops during transport, particularly due to the moisture that will condense inside the bag.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The best way to preserve hops is to place them in the fridge \/ or in a cold room.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    This certificate, along with your hop invoices (containing all the required information), is what you need to present for your organic audits. Nothing more. Some auditors are overzealous, requesting analyses or other documents that aren’t necessary to verify organic traceability and compliance with regulations. <\/p>\n

    Also, hops do not have certificates of their own, it is the hop growers\/producers who are certified; which we guarantee and which we verify when we source from them.<\/p>\n
