Who is Terres de Luttes?<\/h2>\n\n

Terres de Luttes is an association that supports collectives fighting against large imposed and polluting projects in France and opposes the concreting of our land, sold off for the benefit of airport expansion, Amazon warehouses or other shopping centers by the hundreds. <\/p>\n\n

She wants to see all the collectives fighting against these imposed and polluting projects in France win, by supporting, at their request, the collectives in the development of their struggles by offering them training (communication, legal, financial, etc.), by creating links and inter-struggle actions and by supporting the emergence of a new narrative, that of a just and sustainable world defended by its inhabitants.<\/p>\n\n

The association and the media outlet Reporterre<\/a> have created a map of France showing the struggles undertaken and won!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a great tool for finding a struggle near you; I highly recommend exploring it. We found a group fighting against the expansion of a quarry that we hadn’t heard of anywhere else, and yet it’s close to home! In short, it’s worth checking out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it’s also great to see that everywhere, men, women, young people and children are mobilizing to protect what matters \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And what’s great is that it’s really a collective that’s there to support local initiatives that are springing up all over the place:<\/p>\n\n

So if there’s a highway project, a shopping center, or a mega-reservoir project (thanks Duplomb for labeling them “of public interest”) near you,… you now have a contact, a point of entry, a lead… We are not alone!!! <\/p>\n\n

The Local Struggles<\/a> website has so many resources that I can’t list them all here. But it’s incredibly well-organized and genuinely useful for improving efficiency and avoiding reinventing the wheel in every fight… <\/p>\n\n
