Almost, because of course, it&#8217;s not the same terroir\u2014this one originates from Spain\u2014but a twin nonetheless because it&#8217;s the closest hop variety. And since Rakau is no longer in production, we&#8217;re delighted to be able to offer you a substitute!  <\/p>\n<p>Alpharoma was developed in New Zealand in the early 1970s, but commercialized in the early 1980s. If you have the time, it&#8217;s really worth it. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>-A DH during primary fermentation.
