At some point, the next presidential elections will be upon us, and there's no way that the environment, and in this case climate change in particular, won't be taken seriously.

Context

Europe is in danger. Trump and Putin have the weapons of power: oil and gas. We no longer have them. To reclaim our destiny and halt the climate catastrophe, we need to get off fossil fuels.

This mission will mobilize dozens of engineers, scientists and professionals from the widest possible range of economic activities. The Shift will produce a number of reports and a book.

What is the Shift Project?

"The Shift Project is a think tank that aims to inform and influence the debate on climate-energy challenges. We are a public interest association. Most of our members are companies. Guided by the demand for scientific and technical rigor, our view of the economy is above all physical and systemic.

We carry out studies on key decarbonization issues. We set up working groups to produce robust quantitative and qualitative analyses, as well as pragmatic proposals. Our research approach is open, iterative and collaborative.

Our publications are freely accessible to all interested parties. We distribute them to professionals, managers and intermediary bodies in the sectors and issues concerned. This network of experts is constantly mobilized, to consolidate our work and help us make it better known. We encourage discussions between stakeholders, in a non-partisan way.
