ABIS is a variety discovered on the farm of one of our partner hop growers in Poland about ten years ago.
From the outset, its aromas were very different from those the producer had known until then. DNA analysis determined that it was a completely new variety of hop! Since then, the producer has propagated and developed this precious variety, while conducting regular analyses to determine the stability (or otherwise) of its components. It turns out that ABIS is as regular as clockwork, which was all it took for our farmer to decide to have this variety certified (i.e., officially registered).
Organoleptic properties? Well, ABIS has something to say! Its high myrcene oil content (> 38% for the 2025 harvest) puts it on a par with Amarillo and Simco, to give you an idea. In short, it packs a punch!
The icing on the cake: we are presenting it to you exclusively for its first release on the market! So if you want to discover something new, ABIS is for you!
