Description

Callista is a relatively recent hop that was developed about ten years ago at the Hop Research Center in Hüll, as part of research for the development of aromatic varieties.

This is a descendant of Hallertau Tradition and a Huell male. The word “Callista” can have different meanings, but in Greek, it primarily means “the most beautiful” ;-). Due to its low cohumulone content, Callista will contribute a mild and balanced bitterness.

  • Beta: 5-10%
