A classic among English hops, Golding is one of the oldest hops used in brewing and complements Fuggle well, contributing floral and citrus notes. Like Fuggle, it is named after the hop grower who developed it. This variety first appeared in the United States in 1995.
Characteristics: A blend of citrus, spices, and pepper.
Use: English or Belgian Pale Ales
