The Phoenix originated in the UK where it was developed in the early 1990s by Wye College. Initially it was intended to replace the Challenger which suffered from many diseases. Today, both are available on the market and that's good!
Caractéristiques: Spices, earth. Quite a lot of spice on the nose and in the mouth. A pleasant and sweet bitterness.
Usage: Porter, Stout, English Ales, IPA
