You give...that is?
As the French influencer @lenasituations says very well: "When you receive, you give" 😉
So it's new in 2022 at HOPSTORE and we've been inspired by the 1% for the Planet movement: we've decided to donate 1% of our monthly turnover to a different charity/cause every month.
Members of the HOPSTORE ecosystem (employees and partners) will take turns choosing who to give to.
We will do this by drawing lots, so that it is not the hump that keeps the best months Ahaha
We won't be communicating on the amounts donated, BUT we will do a little post here on the blog every month to highlight the charity/cause we donated to. If you feel like it 😉
So once again, buying from HOPSTORE means buying certified Organic, but not only!
Aide et Action
So we start with the humanitarian association Aide et Action.

In 1981, after returning from a trip to India, this HEC graduate decided to create an association whose mission would be to advance the cause of education for all populations. He then launched individual child sponsorship in France to develop education. It was a great success and the first programmes were opened in Kenya and India. During the 1990s, the association developed and launched the sponsorship of classes and then projects. With time, the growth of activities, the increase in local human resources in its teams, its modes of intervention were transformed from assistance to development actions.
Since 1998, Aide et Action has put forward the idea of listening to the people, who are the creators and bearers of their educational and development projects. In 2004, Aide et Action decided to internationalize its governance and to base its project on four fundamental principles: shared decision-making, regional autonomy, shared responsibility for the development of the association and the pooling of resources.
In 2007, Aide et Action International was created, an entity that brings together all its regional associations: Africa, South Asia, South East Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean, alongside France, a founding member.
Today, Aide et Action is an association for development through education, which has been providing access to quality education for the most vulnerable and marginalized populations, especially children, girls and women, for 40 years, so that they can control their own development and contribute to a more peaceful and sustainable world.
Because access to quality education helps to fight poverty and disease, limit climate change and build peace in a sustainable world, we promote lifelong learning. We therefore pay particular attention to early childhood care and education, access to and quality of education at primary and secondary levels, and vocational training and social inclusion.
Based on the values of dignity, inclusion and integrity, as well as on the principles of transparency, accountability and solidarity, and thanks to the support of our 51,000 donors, we are running more than 83 projects in Africa, Asia, Europe - and especially in France - for more than 1.9 million children, young people and adults.
