Who is Terres de Luttes

Terres de Luttes is an association that supports collectives fighting against large-scale, imposed and polluting projects in France. It opposes the concrete development of our land, which is being sold off for the expansion of airports, Amazon warehouses and shopping centers by the hundreds.

It wants to see all the collectives fighting against these imposed and polluting projects in France win, by supporting collectives in the development of their struggles at their request, by offering them training (communication, legal, financial...), by creating links and inter-fighting actions and by supporting the emergence of a new narrative, that of a just and sustainable world defended by its inhabitants.

Giving visibility

The association and the media outlet Reporterre have put together a map of France, showing the battles that have been waged and won!

It's a great tool for finding a fight near you, and I urge you to explore it. We found a collective fighting against quarry expansion that we hadn't heard of elsewhere, and yet it's close to home! In short, it's worth a look.

And it's also great to see that men, women, young people and children everywhere are mobilizing to protect what matters 🙂

And the great thing is that it's really a collective that's there to support local initiatives that are springing up all over the place:

So if there's a project for a freeway, a shopping center, mega basins (thank you Duplomb for labelling them "of general interest"),... you now have a contact, an entry point, a lead... We're not alone!!!!
