Available since 1985, Chinook has steadily gained popularity. It ranks among the top 10 hops used by craft breweries in the United States, largely because it performs excellently at all stages of the brewing process and can be used for both aroma and bittering. Chinook is a cross between Petham Golding and an American male hop.
