Pilgrim is a hop variety originating from the United Kingdom, where it was developed by the renowned Wye College . It belongs to the same family as First Gold and Herald and is one of the “dwarf” hop varieties. It was released to the market in 2000.
Characteristics : A spicy and grassy aroma reminiscent of Target. On the palate, it’s very hoppy and also green/grassy. Some detect pear.
Uses : Pale Ales, English Ales, IPA
