The Sovereign was developed at Wye College by Dr. Peter Darby from a natural pollination carried out in 1995. It is a descendant of the Pioneer and the WGV.
Characteristics : Light, sweet, floral, and capable of developing subtle fruity notes. You might also find hints of mint, green tea, and even vanilla. It works very well with Goldings or as a standalone hop in your brewing.
Usage : American Lager, American Pale Ale

- Beta: 2.1 – 3.1%
- Cohumulone: 22-30%
