Description

This hop variety was developed by the New Zealand Hop Breeding Programme and released in 1987. It is among the hops with a high alpha acid content and high cohumulone levels, making it a powerful bittering agent! As a late addition, it also contributes interesting aromas for those seeking red berry flavors.

Use : Pale Ale, IPA, Brown Ale, English Ale

Acids :

  • Alpha: 13-18%
  • Beta: 7-9%
  • Cohumulone: ​​37-40%

Total oils : 1 – 1.4ml/100g
