MOTUEKA™ - ORGANIC
243,45€ – 296,00€ HTMotueka, the rock star!
“A must-have among NZ hops. A true Aromatic catalyst Aromatic works in all styles of beer. Just a few grams in a thirst-quenching lager and a half-pint becomes a pint, and one pint leads to another... and soon the keg is empty. It is one of the few hops that can release citrus aromas at all stages of brewing."
Here are some use cases:
- In a thirst-quenching pale ale: 2 g/L in the whirlpool to enhance the flavor without altering it.
- In a versatile IPA: A DH of 3 g/L during primary fermentation is sufficient to release pleasant fruity aromas.
- In a NEIPA: A DH of 6 g/L during fermentation to obtain exotic fruit flavors + A DH during aging to obtain the "cocktail" effect.

“A newAromatic variety alreadyAromatic its fans. It is one of the only hops to offer this red fruit palette. These aromas are extremely volatile, so to get them into the beer, you have to use it at a low temperature. Otherwise, you will mainly get tart exotic aromas... There are worse things...”
WAI-TI™ - ORGANIC
26,45€ – 249,65€ HTWhy not? ?
“Wai-Ti is back!! With its low ABV, it's a must-have for NEIPAs, session beers, and other light, highly aromatic beers. The vine peach effect in cold DH is simply stunning.”
SAAZ - ORGANIC
182,50€ – 195,00€ HTNo Saaz No panic...
Saaz is in short supply on the market this year.”
To compensate for its absence, I recommend:
- Styrian Golding: Delicate and complex, it offers a bouquet of subtle aromas and a long finish.
- The Saphir : Largely underrated, this hop increases drinkability with its slightly lemony touch.
- Tettnanger: From the same lineage as SAAZ, it resembles it with a slightly peppery effect as a bonus.
- The Spalter Select : The other sibling of SAAZ, it is the easiest to use because it is the most neutral. Its "herbaceous" finish is easily recognizable.
