Slovenian calm and constancy.

“Celeia, also known as Styrian Golding, is a noble hop, for example. It is delicate and complex, and adds a lot of length and drinkability to your lightest blondes.”

Description

Celeia, or Styrian Golding, is a cross between Aurora and a wild Slovenian male. It was developed by the Slovenian Institute of Hop Research and Brewing to improve the agronomic properties of Savinjski Golding while preserving its desirable characteristics. It is now a hop variety recognized for its balanced profile.

Styrian Celeia can be used as a light bittering agent, but it will be even more interesting as a late addition or in dry hopping for Pale Ale, Brown Ale or a wide range of Belgian-style beers.

It is part of what are called “noble” hops and develops more floral notes than Styrian Gold or Fuggle .
